Sam Reinhart had two goals and two assists to guide the Florida Panthers to a 4-3 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday.
Carter Verhaeghe broke the deadlock early in the third period and the Panthers overcame two fine goals from young sensation Connor Bedard.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson collected a goal and an assist for the Panthers, who signed a fourth consecutive victory. Matthew Tkachuk and Evan Rodrigues added two assists each.
Bedard, who scored nine goals in his first 13 career games, became the youngest player to score two goals in a single game against the Panthers. Three days earlier, he had achieved the same feat, but against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Jason Dickinson also scored for the Blackhawks, who saw Arvid Soderblom make 27 saves.
Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 24 pucks in front of the Panthers, who now head to the west coast for a three-game series.
