At the supermarket checkout, there are two schools: those who religiously keep all their receipts, and those who throw them away before they even arrive in the store’s car park. Soon, these two camps will all be able to find their account.
From 2023, the printing of your receipts will no longer be automatic: merchants will only print them at the request of customers.
Only here: when you do your shopping, several reasons can push you to want to despite everything… Among them, a very simple observation: your receipt can make you earn money. And yes !
First, your receipt serves as proof of purchase, and can be very useful for running a warranty or for reimbursement of a product that is unfit for consumption or damaged.

Some brands offer a refund of a purchase if you are not satisfied. This is called “satisfied or refunded”.
If the terms are not the same depending on the brand, they are often similar: you must prove the purchase with your receipt, accompanied by your contact details and your bank details, all within the time limit to take advantage of the ‘offer.
“It may also be required to write at least 5 or 10 lines to explain our dissatisfaction with the product in question”, adds Femme Actuelle.
