suspects-escape-on-electric-scooter-after-shooting-in-lincoln-heights

A dude sitting in a car got shot and injured real early on a Saturday morning in Lincoln Heights, yo. Two dudes rolled up on an electric scooter, blasted him, then dipped, according to the police. The victim, a 48-year-old man, got taken to the hospital by ambulance and was reported to be stable, said the LAPD spokeswoman, Norma Eisenman.

The shooting went down around 1:15 a.m. Investigators said the two dudes approached the victim while he was posted up in his car near Humbolt Street and Avenue 23 in Lincoln Heights, right by Interstate 5. They started arguing, then one of the suspects whipped out a gun and passed it to the other dude, who let off multiple shots. After that, they hopped on the electric scooter and bounced in an unknown direction, Eisenman said. No word on whether the victim was driving or parked at the time of the shooting.

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like this whole situation is wild. Two dudes on an electric scooter rolling up and shooting someone in their car? Like, what’s going on in Lincoln Heights these days? Hopefully, the victim makes a full recovery and the LAPD catches those scooter-riding suspects soon. Stay safe out there, y’all.
