Speculations have been circulating for months that Swift could possibly be portraying the character Dazzler in the film. These rumors escalated when Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, who play Deadpool and Wolverine respectively, were spotted at a Kansas City Chiefs NFL game alongside Swift and the film’s director, Shawn Levy.
Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, have been long-time friends with Swift, and Levy has a history with the singer, having appeared in her “All Too Well” music video. Despite their close relationships, fans were left disappointed when it was confirmed that Swift will not be part of the movie.
