Israel experienced another suspected terror attack recently. In the coastal city of Hadera, a knife-wielding motorist injured eight people in a stabbing rampage. At the same time, rockets landed in a city in Israel’s northeastern region, resulting in the death of two individuals.

The injured individuals were taken to the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera for treatment. Among them, one person is in critical condition, while another is in grave condition. Four others are described as being in moderate condition, one is lightly injured, and an eighth individual was hospitalized for anxiety.

The suspect in the stabbing attack was identified as an Israeli-Arab man from Umm el-Fahm, with a history of criminal activities known to the police. He was subdued by armed residents before the police arrived on the scene.

These incidents come amidst ongoing conflicts between Israel and groups like Hamas in the south and Hezbollah in the north. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Biden are expected to discuss Israel’s response to Iran’s recent missile strike on Israel.

The Biden administration has expressed concerns about Israel launching a broad incursion into Lebanon against Hezbollah, urging Israel to keep any retaliation proportionate and avoid targeting Iranian nuclear or oil facilities. The exact nature of Israel’s anticipated retaliatory attack remains to be seen.
