The Antwerp police, on Saturday morning, a 20-year-old man, arrested an inspector of The Line had been struck down with a rod of iron. The inspector was a guy who was sitting in the smoke in the metro station and the Diamond, under the Antwerp Central railway station, asked to put his cigarette out.

The incident took place around 7 a.m. at the subway station, Antwerp Central railway station after a report was received about a man who was on the track walking. A 38-year-old inspector went on to study at the tunnel passages, and found the suspect’s husband, who is a familiar red-jacket wearing, smoking on the platform.

“The inspector made the man aware that he was not allowed to smoke, and begged for it to stop. The offender took the next with a metal bar and struck the target solidly with it,” said the spokesman, Wouter Bruyns, from the Antwerp police department.
