A new series of satellite images released by the European Space Agency (ESA) reveal that the mysterious anomaly that is weakening the magnetic field of the Earth seems to be about to split. If it does, we may soon have more than one of these strange phenomena over our heads.
Is known as “Anomaly in the South Atlantic” and it consists of a vast region that extends from South America to the southwest of Africa and that, inexplicably, the intensity of the magnetic field is much lower than in other regions of the globe.
