Thousands Anticipated at English Riviera Airshow – Important Traffic Updates
Thousands of spectators are anticipated to attend the highly anticipated English Riviera Airshow this weekend. In order to accommodate the large crowds, there will be road closures and safety and traffic management measures in place from 11am until 7pm today (Saturday, June 1) and tomorrow (Sunday, June 2).
Drivers should be aware that vehicular access around Paignton seafront, Preston seafront, and the surrounding residential areas will be limited. Affected roads will have clear diversion routes in place to help ease traffic flow.
For those requiring disabled parking, Victoria Car Park located at Garfield Road, Paignton, TQ4 6AU will be available. It is just a short five-minute walk from the Event Village along pavements and roads. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is recommended.
Alternatively, attendees can opt to travel to the Airshow via ferry, with more information available at www.torbay.gov.uk/ferry. Cycle parking standards are also available for those choosing to arrive by bike. For those arriving by coach, the drop-off point is conveniently located next to the Paignton Club, and parking can be pre-booked through the Airshow website for £100 per day.
With these measures in place, organizers aim to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors attending the English Riviera Airshow.
