New Content Revealed for Three Prince of Persia Games at Ubisoft Forward

The Prince of Persia franchise made a big impact at Ubisoft Forward, unveiling new content for three popular games: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, The Rogue Prince of Persia, and the highly anticipated remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

During the event, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown announced an upcoming story DLC titled “Mask of Darkness,” set to be released in September 2024. Additionally, fans can now enjoy the free Divine Trials update, featuring 22 expert challenges in the Metroidvania-inspired adventure. Players can access these challenges through the Hall of Memorials, facing unique conditions in four sets of progressively difficult trials. By overcoming these challenges, players can earn new amulets and outfits.

The Rogue Prince of Persia

The Rogue Prince of Persia, currently in Early Access on Steam and GeForce Now, launched its first major free update called the Temple of Fire. This update introduces a new biome with traps and challenges, along with two new enemies and a new weapon called the Flaming Censers. Players can also utilize the Meta Progression Skill Tree to unlock persistent improvements between runs.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Lastly, the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was showcased with a teaser trailer, confirming its full production phase and a planned release in 2026. The game, rebuilt from the ground up, will bring the classic adventure of the Prince and Farah to a new generation of players. Ubisoft Montreal, along with co-dev studios, is working on bringing this iconic story to life.

The Rogue Prince of Persia is currently available in Early Access on Steam and GeForce Now, while Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown can be played on various platforms. Fans can also access the game through a Ubisoft+ Premium subscription, with a special offer for new subscribers to enjoy the game.
