The 328,000 Quebecers who paid for ticket insurance without being adequately informed of the price on the Ticketmaster website began to receive the email leading to the compensation provided as part of the class action.

The appeal was initiated after the revelations of La Presse. Shipments will be made over a few days. The sender is the company Concilia Service which administers the complaints. To obtain the compensation, simply click on the link within 45 days of receiving the email. The money will then be transferred by Interac transfer.

The amount of compensation will depend on the number of members who have made a claim, but cannot exceed the price paid for the insurance sold by AZGA (Allianz). The lawyer leading the case, Joey Zukran of the LPC law firm, judged that the way the ticket insurance was sold was “misleading and deceptive”.
