French Golfers Trainer and Perez Perform Well at RBC Canadian Open, Skinns Leads
French golfers Victor Perez and Martin Trainer have shown strong performances at the RBC Canadian Open on the PGA Tour. Currently, both Perez and Trainer are even par after the first round, while Englishman David Skinns leads the pack at -8.
Trainer, despite a stunning eagle on the 4th hole, finished the round even par after five bogeys offset his three birdies. Similarly, Perez also ended the round even par after a competitive day in Canada on the PGA Tour. The third Frenchman in the mix, Paul Barjon, finished with a score of 73 (+3) due to two double bogeys on the 1st and 14th holes.
Meanwhile, David Skinns will start the second round at -8, following a flawless 62 on Thursday in Canada. The Englishman did not make a single bogey, putting him in the lead. Americans Sam Burns and Sean O’Hair are close behind at -7, just one stroke behind Skinns.
