A father is travelling with his son to the 2024 European Championships in Germany. In a strange email, the Scot informs his child’s school. In it, he also tells them when they can expect him to return.
The European Football Championship has begun. Ian M. doesn’t want to miss it – and neither does his son Aleks. The Scots therefore traveled to Germany especially for the event. In a curious email, the father informed his child’s school about his absence during the 2024 European Championship.
On X, Ian shared the message announcing Aleks’ absence. Over 22,400 people liked the post. The email reads: “Hi, I’m just writing to let you know that Aleks will be out of school from Thursday 13th June until Scotland’s elimination from Euro 2024.”
Ian continued: “We will be taking an educational tour of Germany and visiting several cities where we will study the extreme emotional highs and lows that only a Scotland fan goes through. I will make sure Aleks writes a detailed report when he returns.”
It is therefore up to the Scottish national team when Aleks will walk through the doors of his school again. The final will take place on July 14th. The group phase lasts until June 26th. The knockout phase starts on June 29th. The games will be played in ten stadiums.
He has experienced almost everything in his many years as a national player: Thomas Müller. It was no surprise that the Munich native knew exactly how to classify the dream start after the great start to the European Championship. Our author listened carefully.
The European Championship match between Albania and Italy on Saturday evening was refereed by German referee Felix Zwayer. For a former referee, this appointment is a “disgrace”.
