Valorant Xbox Achievements: Challenging the 1,000G Task in the Free-to-Play FPS
The Valorant Xbox achievements have been unveiled, and it seems like the free-to-play shooter will present quite a challenge for gamers aiming to achieve the coveted 1,000 Gamerscore.
Although the full launch of the free-to-play shooter is expected later in 2024, the Valorant achievements have already been revealed. The Xbox community can expect a tough completion with these achievements. Having gained immense popularity on PC since its inception in 2020, developer Riot Games announced the arrival of Valorant for Xbox Series X|S during Summer Game Fest. For those unfamiliar with Valorant, it is a 5v5 hero-based tactical FPS that combines elements of Counter-Strike and Overwatch.
While the exact release date is still pending, Riot Games has announced a limited beta to ensure that the first-person hero shooter is optimized for consoles. The beta is set to commence on June 14, which explains the recent reveal of the Valorant achievements. Upon reviewing all 16 Valorant achievements, it is evident that earning the full 1,000G will not be a walk in the park. Players will need to accomplish various tasks such as getting 1,000 headshots, dealing 500,000 damage, using abilities 4,000 times, and utilizing the ultimate ability 300 times.
Moreover, players will also need to defuse a Spike with less than a second remaining, achieve an ‘Ace’ by eliminating all opposing players in a round, and work with teammates to unlock ‘Five in, five out,’ which requires winning a round without any team deaths.
Considering the positive reception among PC players, Valorant is poised to become one of the best Xbox first-person shooters upon its full release.
