The immersive virtual reality (VR) course The Horizon of Cheops, created by the French company Emissive, is extended until Labor Day weekend, September 1, said Phi, associated with the course as operator and distributer.
Since its launch last February, more than 120,000 tickets have been sold.
During the approximately 45-minute experience, the visitor enters the various rooms and chambers of the largest pyramid of Giza, a funerary monument built 4,500 years ago during the 4th Dynasty of ancient Egypt in memory of of Pharaoh Khufu. The course is presented at 2, rue de la Commune Ouest, right next to the Science Center.
