Storm, rain, flood or even avalanche, several vigilances were triggered by Météo France this Monday, November 14, 2022. The most important is orange and concerns storms and rain.
Indeed, as reported by La Chaîne Météo, “a depression has formed over the Gulf of Lion, resulting in a moisture-laden southeasterly flow”. This favors unstable weather in several departments with very rainy storms.
This situation has been going on since Monday, November 14 at noon and should last all night and until Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. From that time, the stormy rains should stop on the territory even if they could persist in several areas.
According to forecasts by meteorologists from La Chaîne Météo, more rainfall is still expected in France for this week. Thus, until Friday, rain clouds should dot a large part of the territory and more or less heavy showers should occur.
On Friday, the sun should return to the east of the country, even if it should only be short-lived. Saturday should be the most beautiful day of the week with sunshine over most of the territory, with the exception of the West Coast and Corsica. However, from Sunday it will be rain and showers that will return to France and will dominate almost all regions.
As far as vigilance is concerned, 12 departments are concerned as of this Monday, according to the weather vigilance bulletin at 4 p.m. on Monday November 14. Find out which ones in our slideshow below.
