Watch out for heatstroke! The first heat episode of 2023 is expected this week in France, after a gradual rise in temperatures in recent days. The thermometer will climb both day and night in France, because of “the rise of increasingly hot air from northern Africa”, explains La Chaîne Météo. The thermometer should rise to a maximum of 33°C, with a feeling in direct sunlight of up to 37°C during the day and it will only drop to around 17°C to 19°C at night. Suffice to say that the evenings will be mild, especially in town, where the heat takes longer to dissipate.
Will this first episode of heat last until this weekend? On this subject, the weather channel explains that it will be sunny and hot in the summer, with temperatures slightly above normal for the season, between 2°C and 4°C higher.
Who says high temperatures, also says return of storms. According to the specialized site, these could be visible in the west of the country and be particularly strong on Saturday, like Sunday. One thing is certain, the heat accumulated in recent days and the arrival will make the atmosphere “heavy” on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The temperatures felt could then be around 35°C…
Before the weekend, the heat will already have to be endured for the rest of the week. In these departments, the thermometer will happily exceed 30°C, to reach 33°C in places… Consult the list to find out if yours is concerned.
