Ron Jeremy, an adult film actor, used the novelty of his celebrity status to meet and often isolate women he raped or sexually assaulted. The grand jury testimony from 21 women, which was not sealed Saturday, shows that Jeremy used the same tactics for many years.
Jane Doe 8 (identified only as Jane Doe 8) said that she told Jane Doe 8 about the time she saw Jeremy at a West Hollywood bar/grill in 2013. The woman, who was one of many to testify that he sexually assaulted her in the same small bathroom, said it only minutes later.
“I was impressed by Ron Jeremy. Jane Doe 7 said that she felt like he was a celebrity when Jeremy entered her Hollywood hotel room. She was there with her friends and the porn actor would rape the girl soon afterwards.
Jeremy Hyatt (68), whose legal name was Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, pleaded guilty to not more than 30 counts sexual assault including 12 counts rape when the Los Angeles County grand juror returned an indictment on August 25. Since his June 2020 arrest, he has been held in jail. Stuart Goldfarb, his attorney, stated that he was innocent of all charges and would be proven it. A Saturday email requesting further comment from Goldfarb was not immediately returned.
Jeremy, also known as “The Hedgehog”, has been a prolific performer in the porn world for decades. He is now a well-known cultural novelty thanks to reality shows and music videos. Since his youth, he has been a magnet to selfie-seekers and autograph seekers. This is why most of the girls and women he is accused with assaulting were 15 to 51 years old when they first met him.

Jane Doe, 33, said that she didn’t know the name of the man but everyone had told her he was famous.

Many women described Jeremy as using the same techniques in the same locations.
He was a regular at the Rainbow Bar and Grill, Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. There he was allowed to use the employee restroom.
He would try to lure women by showing them the kitchen, where the famous pizzas are made, or telling them that he knew of a place they could use if the public toilets were closed.
