Woody Harrelson found himself in a tough spot recently when he got into a motorcycle accident on his way to record the “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” podcast. Fortunately, his longtime friend and “Cheers” costar Ted Danson came to his rescue after the crash.

During the podcast, Harrelson described the accident, saying he went over his handlebars while trying to pass a slow-moving Tesla on the left. He mentioned that he felt some pain after the crash but never thought he would be seriously injured.

Despite the mishap, Harrelson only sustained an injury to his wrist, which Danson humorously wrapped up, making it look like something out of a cartoon. Danson, who once played a doctor on “The Doctors,” confidently cleaned and wrapped his friend’s wound.

The duo, who are currently promoting their new podcast titled “Where Everybody Knows Your Name with Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson (Sometimes),” have a long history together, dating back to their time on the hit show “Cheers.” The podcast aims to reconnect with old friends and share stories with guests like Will Arnett, Dax Shepard, Jane Fonda, and more.

Despite the accident, Harrelson and Danson remain in good spirits and are looking forward to sharing their podcast with fans. Their friendship and camaraderie have stood the test of time, proving that true friends are always there for each other, especially in times of need.
