(Paris) No change has occurred in the WTA top 20 published on Monday, a ranking still dominated by the Polish Iga Swiatek, who will make her debut at Roland-Garros, the second Grand Slam lifter of the season, on Tuesday.
Swiatek, who had to retire earlier this month in Rome due to a sore right thigh, will have a lot to defend in Paris, as she is the defending champion.
Behind her, the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka has already entered the Porte d’Auteuil, dominating Sunday in the first round the Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk 6-3, 6-2.
The American Jessica Pegula completes the podium, while Caroline Garcia, the best French chance at Roland-Garros despite her doubts at the moment, remains 5th.
