Asus Unveils New Gaming Laptop at Computex 2024
Asus recently introduced its latest gaming laptop, the ROG Zephyrus G16, at the ongoing Computex 2024 event in Taiwan. The laptop is designed to meet the needs of both gamers and productivity enthusiasts with its innovative features.
The annual technology trade show, Computex, began on June 4 in Taiwan and will continue until June 7. Industry professionals and tech enthusiasts from across the globe have gathered to witness the unveiling of cutting-edge products by leading brands. Asus is among the prominent brands showcasing its new products at the event, with the announcement of the ROG Zephyrus G16 gaming laptop.
The Zephyrus G16 boasts a sleek and lightweight design, weighing just 1.85 kg, despite its powerful performance capabilities. Constructed with high-quality aluminum, the laptop features a customizable light bar on the lid for a personalized touch.
Equipped with 32GB of memory and support for the latest SD Express 7.0 standard, the G16 ensures quick file transfers from compatible devices. Additionally, it is the first ROG laptop to incorporate WiFi 7 technology, offering faster wireless speeds and reduced lag, provided you have a compatible router.
To prevent overheating during intense gaming sessions, Asus has integrated liquid metal on the CPU and a fiber-and-mesh heat-pipe system. The tri-fan design, featuring second-generation Arc Flow Fans, ensures efficient heat dissipation, maintaining optimal performance.
The Zephyrus G16 is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, which is specifically optimized for AI-related tasks. With a built-in NPU and 12 cores and 24 threads, the processor delivers exceptional performance for tasks such as photo and video editing, as well as utilizing advanced features in Windows.
Featuring a 2.5K OLED display with a 240 Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-sync support, gamers can enjoy an immersive gaming experience. The laptop is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, providing up to 321 TOPS of AI performance and an impressive HDR experience.
