In her latest role in Apple TV+’s “Palm Royale,” which has been renewed for a second season, Burnett shared that all it took to convince her to join the cast was the mention of who else was involved. With stars like Kristen Wiig, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Laura Dern, Josh Lucas, and Kaia Gerber, Burnett couldn’t resist being a part of the show.
Looking ahead, Burnett revealed that there are still a few stars on her bucket list to work with, including Meryl Streep, George Clooney, and Bradley Cooper. Despite her incredible career and the numerous people she has worked with in the past, Burnett remains grateful for the opportunities she has had.
During her Hand and Footprint Ceremony, Burnett reminisced about her childhood memories of visiting the Chinese Theatre with her grandmother. She never imagined that she would one day have her own handprints and footprints immortalized in the same spot where she once admired the imprints of other Hollywood icons.
Burnett also took a moment to thank her family and friends for their support throughout her career. She humorously recalled a time when she and her grandmother would take toilet paper from the restroom after watching a film at the Chinese Theatre when they couldn’t afford to buy any.
The ceremony was attended by her “Better Call Saul” co-stars, as well as Jimmy Kimmel and Laura Dern, who played a significant role in making the event possible. Burnett expressed her gratitude to Dern and everyone else involved, emphasizing how much the honor meant to her.
