The Florida Gators have a number of their committed players playing on Friday night before the high school playoffs. Let’s take a look at the schedule for UF’s 2025 and 2026 commits.
In 2025, we have several standout players to keep an eye on:
– 4-star WR Vernell Brown III from Orlando (Fla.) Jones has been performing exceptionally well, with 6 touchdowns and 852 receiving yards. His team is 8-0 and will be facing off against Ocoee on the road.
– 4-star CB Ben Hanks Jr. from Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington has four interceptions this season, including a pick six. His team is 5-3 and will have a week off.
– 4-star Edge Jalen Wiggins from Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards will be playing against Lincoln on the road. His team is currently 4-5.
– 4-star RB Waltez Clark from Tampa (Fla.) Plant has scored eight touchdowns so far this season. His team is 5-3 and will be playing against Steinbrenner at home.
– 3-star LB Myles Johnson from Brewton (AL) T.R. Miller is part of an undefeated team at 9-0. They will be playing W.S. Neal at home.
– 3-star WR Naeshaun Montgomery from Miami (Fla.) Central has four touchdowns this season and his team has finished the regular season with a 7-1 record.
– 3-star TE Tae’shaun Gelsey from Jacksonville (Fla.) Riverside has an impressive 13 touchdowns and 831 receiving yards. His team finished the regular season at 5-5.
– 3-star TE Micah Jones from Madison (MS) Central has a record of 6-2 and will be playing against Starkville at home.
– 3-star RB Chad Gasper from Fulshear (TX) Katy Jordan is part of an 8-1 team and will have a week off.
– 3-star DL Jeramiah McCloud from Leesburg (GA) Lee County is part of an undefeated team at 9-0. They will be playing against Houston County at home.
– 3-star P Hayden Craig from Bridgton (ME) Academy will be on the road against Bryant University.
Moving on to the 2026 commits, we have:
– 4-star QB Will Griffin from Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit has 19 touchdowns so far this season. His team is 4-3 and will be playing against Tampa Catholic on the road.
– 4-star CB Jaelen Waters from Seffner (Fla.) Armwood is part of an 8-0 team and will be playing against Riverview on the road.
– 3-star S Devin Jackson from Orlando (Fla.) First Academy will be playing against Calvary Christian on the road. His team is 8-1.
