In honor of Pride month, North West Anglia Foundation NHS Trust (NWAFT) has added a vibrant touch to Peterborough City Hospital by unveiling two rainbow-colored zebra crossings. The initiative, funded by the North West Anglia Hospitals’ charity, aims to promote inclusivity and support for the LGBTQIA+ community within the hospital environment.
Jo Bennis, Chief Nurse at NWAFT, expressed pride in the trust’s ongoing commitment to supporting LGBTQIA+ staff, patients, and the local community. The rainbow crossings serve as a symbol of celebration, awareness, and a reminder of the trust’s dedication to inclusivity throughout the year.

Looking ahead, NWAFT plans to implement similar pride initiatives at its other hospital sites, including Stamford and Hinchingbrooke.
