Chief Tami Sleeman of the Hancock police reported that the 22-year-old suspect had engaged in a series of violent acts over the weekend. In addition to running over the elderly man with the ATV, the suspect also destroyed yard signs supporting Donald J. Trump and vandalized vehicles with political stickers.
