Title: Local Woman Strikes it Rich with $10 Scratch-off Ticket

Cynthia Schulz, a resident of Pembroke, has recently joined the ranks of millionaires after hitting the jackpot with an Instant Majestic scratch-off ticket.

Having worked in the healthcare industry before retiring, Schulz revealed to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) that she has been a loyal lottery player for two decades.

“I always make sure to try out the new games,” Schulz mentioned during her visit to the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim her prize.

The fortunate winner recounted how she came to purchase the winning ticket while out with her husband and friends on an ATV excursion in Renfrew. Due to closed gas pumps, they made a stop at a different store where Schulz decided to try her luck.

“When I saw the amount on my ticket, I couldn’t believe it. I immediately called out to my husband! We double-checked the win using the OLG app and phoned our children right away,” Schulz shared.

Expressing her excitement, Schulz disclosed her plans to use her newfound wealth to embark on trips to Italy, Greece, Germany, and Spain.

“This win will bring so much joy to many people. It’s truly a dream come true,” Schulz expressed with gratitude.

The Instant Majestic scratch-off games, priced at $10 per play, offer a grand prize of $1 million. The odds of winning any prize stand at one in 3.56, whereas the chances of claiming the top prize are one in 1,503,700.

Schulz purchased the winning ticket at Gourley’s Variety and Gas Bar situated on Highway 132 in Renfrew. The stroke of luck has undoubtedly brought immense happiness and excitement to Schulz and her family, setting the stage for a bright and adventurous future ahead.
