Police in a Texas suburb have given out a description of a suspect involved in a mass shooting at a Juneteenth celebration. The incident took place on Saturday night in Round Rock, where two people lost their lives and 14 others were injured. The suspect is described as a Black male with a thin build, around 5 feet 7 inches tall, with short dreadlocks, and was wearing a white hoodie during the shooting.

The suspect, believed to be between 19 to 20 years old, is considered armed and dangerous. Round Rock Police Chief Allen Banks expressed his dismay over the incident, stating that the goal is to apprehend those responsible and ensure they face severe consequences for their actions.

The shooting occurred during a fight between two groups near the vendor area at the Round Rock Juneteenth Festival in Old Settler’s Park. At least one individual pulled out a gun and started shooting, leading to chaos and tragedy. Emergency medical care was immediately provided to the wounded by police officers and fire department personnel present at the event.

The injured individuals, ranging from 10 to 62 years old, were taken to hospitals for treatment. Fortunately, most of them have been discharged, while the rest are in stable condition and are expected to be released soon. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest.
