Senior All-American Sarah Weber has once again been recognized for her outstanding performance, earning her third consecutive first-team All-Big Ten honor. This achievement adds to the impressive tally of 110 all-time all-conference awards for the Huskers, with 39 of those earned since joining the Big Ten conference.
Originally from Gretna, Weber concluded her Husker career on a high note, showcasing her skills with two hat tricks and four multi-goal games throughout the season. Her exceptional performance placed her fourth in the nation for shots per game, averaging an impressive 5.41 shots. With a total of 11 goals during the year, Weber now has a career total of 43 goals, ranking her seventh in the history of Husker soccer.
Having started nearly every game over the past four seasons, Weber’s offensive prowess was undeniable in 2024, as she took an impressive 92 shots, with 29 of them on target. Her remarkable career statistics have secured her a spot in the Husker record books, ranking third in total shots with 337 and sixth in shots on goal with 132.
In addition to Weber’s accolades, senior Nicola Hauk was also recognized in this year’s Big Ten honors as the recipient of the Sportsmanship Award. Hauk, a key player for the team, logged an impressive 4,082 minutes on the field as a Husker, contributing three goals and three assists to the team’s success.
