A woman in New Jersey was arrested for causing a disturbance at a motel pool. The incident involved her attacking a 10-year-old boy, his father, and even biting a police officer, according to authorities. The police were called to the scene at a motel in Wildwood Crest after reports of a fight. Witnesses described the woman, identified as 43-year-old Fallan Turner, as being highly intoxicated and behaving erratically in the pool.
Officers found that Turner had grabbed the young boy, swung him around, and pushed him underwater. When the boy’s father intervened, she jumped on his back and acted inappropriately. Despite attempts to calm her down, Turner became aggressive, leading to her arrest. She resisted being handcuffed and even pushed one of the officers in the face.
Upon arriving at the police station for processing, Turner continued to be uncooperative and combative. She went as far as biting one of the officer’s hands during the ordeal. Fortunately, neither officer sustained serious injuries from the altercation.
Turner is now facing several charges, including endangering the welfare of children, aggravated assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest with force, criminal sexual contact, failure to allow fingerprinting, harassment, and disorderly conduct. She has been placed in the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
This incident serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of certain situations, especially when individuals are under the influence of substances. It also highlights the challenges that law enforcement officers face when dealing with individuals who are uncooperative and aggressive. Cooperation and respect are essential in ensuring the safety of everyone involved in such incidents.
