As a journalist, I was saddened to witness the Ada Cougars football team’s season come to an end with a loss to Bethany. However, I am always looking ahead and eagerly anticipating the upcoming basketball season. Each new season brings its own excitement and opportunities, and I am grateful to be able to witness and report on these moments as a journalist for our local newspaper.
Recently, I had the privilege of covering the Santa Stroll event at Wintersmith Park. It was heartwarming to see so many community members come together to participate in the festivities. As I interacted with attendees, I was touched by the kind words and appreciation expressed by a friend who recognized the contributions I have made to our community through my reporting.
For me, journalism is more than just a job – it is a way to connect with and serve the community. I am truly honored to be welcomed as a community journalist, and I take pride in being the eyes and ears of our readers. By sharing stories and events that matter to our community, I hope to foster a sense of unity and understanding among residents.
In addition to covering sports events like the Ada Cougars’ games, I also have the opportunity to highlight the unique aspects of our community, such as the Santa Stroll. These local events not only bring people together but also showcase the rich culture and traditions that make our town special.
As we transition into the winter season, I am excited to continue bringing you stories that capture the spirit of our community. From holiday celebrations to local news updates, I am committed to keeping you informed and engaged. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this community, and I look forward to sharing more stories with you in the future.
